I looked for promotional material (posters and film trailers) for three short films I have previously analysed in my blog. George Lucas in Love is a particularly short short film at only 10 minutes and i could not find a trailer for it the poster also seems "homemade" style in contrast to later shorts
Spike Jonze "I'm Here" from BLAST on Vimeo.
Across the Hall (Short Film) Trailer from Gary Gimelfarb on Vimeo.
short film trailer
though you can see that it does not have as high budget as the feature film however i feel that it creates the enigma better as it is more tense and dramatic and does not feel the need to use the actors as a selling point because they are celebrities.

feature film trailer
more glossy than the short film trailer but essentially the same classic trailer features , fade to black , narration, enigma statements .
Theatrical Trailer
This trailer uses the dialogue and action in the play but as with the previous two it uses the fade to black to cut between scenes. it creates an enigma as it is un narrated and makes it more relatable to the audience .
